Double basses offer
We offer classical double basses carved of solid European spruce and flamed maple in sizes of 1/4, 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4. We also offer semi-acoustic and electric double basses. The classic double basses have a fitted ebony fingerboard adapted to the specific needs of the musician. The special form fingerboard allows for low action along the entire length with no buzzing. The necks are reinforced with carbon truss rods. Our semi-acoustic and electric basses are custom made according to the preferences of the client. A wide range of select woods and shapes are available.

Ales Erman is a highly skilled master luthier who makes high-end acoustic archtop guitars and double basses. You can choose between different models of hand-carved ERMAN archtop jazz guitars made from carefully selected and seasoned resonant European woods. All models have excellent projection, full and balanced sound, comfortable neck width, good action, high quality and excellent reliability. And every guitar is customized to the needs and wishes of the client.

Aleš Erman
Ales Erman is a highly skilled master luthier who makes high-end acoustic archtop guitars and double basses. Master Erman holds a bachelors degree in Wood Science and Technology. His instruments are created in the traditional way, with mostly hand tools. His instruments are also certificated as Slovenian Hand Made Products and he has received accolades from The Slovenian Chamber of Crafts. His traditional handmade guitars and double basses are of the highest quality. They are made of the fine quality woods. They come standard with a unique nitrocellulose finish that is the result of hand-applied traditional oil varnish and French polish.
